In the main production areas, during the Wenshan period, the tree is of the horizontal type, with thick and hard branches and sparse leaves. , with fewer buds and thicker leaves, the yield is not high, but the quality of Baozhong tea is high, and the production period is later than that of Qingxin Oolong. It has a slightly tree shape with oval-shaped leaves that are thick and fleshy. The leaves are spread flat.
